Terms of service

The service

Cadence provides AI agents that review sensitive communications before publication, coordinate responses to live situations, and train teams through simulation drills, on the web and inside Slack.

AI outputs are recommendations

Cadence never publishes anything on your behalf. Verdicts, rewrites and Flow plans are AI-generated recommendations: a human on your team always keeps the final decision, and you remain responsible for what your organization publishes.

Your account

You are responsible for the accuracy of your account information, for keeping your credentials safe, and for the activity of the members of your organization's workspace.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use the service for unlawful content, to attempt to disrupt or reverse-engineer it, to resell access, or to submit content you have no right to process.

Your content

You retain all rights to the content you submit. You grant Cadence the limited license needed to process it through the service (including via our AI processors). We do not train shared models on it.

Plans and billing

Paid features require an active plan as described on the pricing page. Subscriptions are billed in advance, monthly or yearly, through our payment processor Stripe, and renew automatically until cancelled.

You can change or cancel your plan at any time from your workspace. A cancellation takes effect at the end of the period already paid for; the period in progress is not refunded and the service stays available until its end. On a plan change, the check quota is recalculated pro rata.

The crisis kit and Popeye Training are separate products, billed on their own and included in no subscription. The kit is a one-off payment; being a digital work delivered immediately at your express request, the right of withdrawal does not apply once delivery has begun.

Prices are exclusive of VAT. We may change prices with at least thirty days' notice, which never applies to a period already paid for.

Liability

The service is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, Cadence's liability is limited to the amounts paid for the service during the twelve months preceding the claim, and Cadence is not liable for the consequences of publishing decisions made by your team.

Governing law

These terms are governed by French law. Any dispute falls under the jurisdiction of the French courts.
